Are Empire Sauna and 巨亨桑拿 the same place?
Yes. Empire Sauna (巨亨桑拿, sometimes written 巨亨水療 or 鉅亨桑拿) is the venue that opened in May 2026 on Rua de Xangai, Macau Peninsula.
How much does Empire Sauna cost?
Sauna entry is MOP 1,199, which is also the entry minimum. Shanghai style is 2,188 and Shanghai style+ is 2,988. The course band runs 3,188 – 5,288 (Eastern 3,188 – 3,588, Chinese 3,988 – 5,288, Euro-American 3,988 – 4,288) and the flagship band 5,488 – 6,088 (Taiwan & HK 5,788, Japan & Korea 5,488 – 6,088). A 5% tourism tax and a 5% service charge are added on top of those figures.
Does 雙鐘 (twin) add more time?
No. 雙鐘 means a second therapist joins you within the same hour, so two therapists work at once. The booking stays one hour; nothing is extended or repeated. On the 7 October 2026 board it costs an extra MOP 1,300 – 4,200 depending on the series, with the same 5% tourism tax and 5% service charge on top.
Is there a service charge?
Yes. The listed figures do not include them: Empire adds a 5% tourism tax and a 5% service charge on top at checkout. Packages themselves include entry, locker and gown, full facility access and the free dining; spirits and wine are billed separately. Only when you book through this site do you also get a free private car transfer and 2 complimentary add-on services.
What are the opening hours? Can I stay overnight?
Open 24 hours; therapists are on shift from 14:00 to 06:00. There are paid private rest rooms and a free lounge with recliners, so overnight stays are fine.
Is there KTV?
No — Empire has no KTV. If karaoke matters to you, message us and we'll suggest an alternative venue; Empire's strengths are the waterbed rooms, theme suites and marble spa baths.
Does the waterbed room cost extra?
The waterbed room is Empire's signature and availability depends on the day and your package. Mention it when you book and we'll hold one for you and confirm the details.
What's included in the free dining?
Mains run to steak, seafood and pork or lamb dishes; on the rice-and-noodle side there is fried rice, fried noodles, noodle soups and sandwiches. Drinks cover coffee, tea, milk tea, juice, soft drinks, beer and Red Bull, served all day in the in-house restaurant. Spirits and wine are the only items billed separately.
