Halloween and the Grand Prix: Two Saturday Nights, Two Different Theme Suites at Empire Sauna

Saturday 31 October, twenty to midnight, Rua de Xangai on the Macau Peninsula. If your Halloween gathering runs late and you are not ready to head back to the hotel, Empire Sauna is on this street, and a private car waits downstairs wherever your evening ends.

Three weeks later comes the 73rd Macau Grand Prix, 19–22 November 2026, and the Saturday of that weekend is 21 November. Every theme suite at Empire Sauna is styled differently, so two visits need not mean the same suite.

The marble lobby

Empire Sauna’s design brings modern luxury together with Eastern zen. The whole house is finished in marble, warm copper and zen-inspired woodwork, reception is a marble lobby, and a butler-style team runs the floor. Choosing here is plain and simple: tell the butler which series and which kind of room you lean towards. A first visit to a lobby like this can feel a little formal, which is perfectly normal, and the butler-style team is there so that no guest is left to work things out alone.

The marble baths

The spa bath area has a marble bath and a jacuzzi. Round freestanding tubs stand on the floor, the walls are white marble veined in grey, a dark wood-slat ceiling runs overhead, and there are potted plants by the tubs and towels stacked on the shelves. Empire Sauna only opened on 15 May 2026, so the fittings and finishes are still brand new. Photos of the baths and the rest of the house are on the facilities page and in the gallery.

The theme suites

The theme suites are built to hotel spec, each with its own bathroom, and every suite in the series is styled differently. The room type can be named when you book, so if you pick one suite on Halloween night, say in your booking message for the Grand Prix Saturday that you would like a different one, and we will check that night’s rooms for you first. The house’s other signature room is the waterbed feature room, and if you would like to try it, mention that when you book as well.

The October board

On the October 2026 board, Empire Sauna’s massage series are listed from MOP 2,188 to 6,088. On top of the listed price come a 5% service charge and a 5% tourism tax, neither of them included in it, and both are settled at checkout. The full set is on the rates page.

Empire Sauna never closes, day or night. The therapists’ shift runs from 14:00 to 06:00, and twenty to midnight on either Saturday falls well inside it. Charges follow the board on display at Empire Sauna that day, and when you book we run through the figures with you again, for November as for October.

Book through this site and the private car costs nothing: it collects you where your evening ends, and your return is set up ahead of time. The same booking adds two add-on services, also free. Another masseuse handles them once the session is over, out on the rest-lounge recliners, and you pick the two after you arrive and see what is on offer.

The hour in the suite

With the suite chosen, the main event of the night is still ahead: an hour-long one-to-one session that is yours alone. What surprises it holds, we will keep under wraps and let you uncover for yourself. People tend to walk out of the suite with a certain glow, and when they think back on Empire Sauna, it is this hour they remember first, before any of the suites.

When the session ends, the rest lounge has rows of recliners for leaning back or closing your eyes for a while. The dining room serves all day, and steak, seafood, soups, noodles, rice and drinks are part of the package, so there is something to eat at any hour of the night.

Before you set out

The party is over and friends still want to sing. Does Empire Sauna have KTV?

There is no KTV at Empire Sauna. The house puts its weight on the theme suites, the waterbed feature room and the spa bath area.

After the party, is an overnight stay at Empire Sauna possible?

Yes, overnight stays are fine, and the recliners in the rest lounge are there to sleep on until morning. If you would rather have a room to yourself, a private room for resting is available at an extra charge, and we quote it when you book.

Saturday 21 November, twenty to midnight, Rua de Xangai on the Macau Peninsula. Three weeks ago the Saturday was Halloween, and this one is the Grand Prix. The reason has changed, the marble lobby is the same lobby, and the theme suite can be a different one.
